Caught only during peak season, these anchovies in spanish extra virgin olive oil are perfect for a personal snack or for hosting.

Our tinned fish collaboration with Fishwife comes from a third-generation, family-owned cannery on the eastern coast of Cantabria, Spain.

The anchovies are caught only during peak season – coastal spring between March and June – when the fish have the best balance of fat. Once caught, they mature in barrels of salt for at least six months.

The anchovies are then hand-filled and hand-packed in premium Spanish olive oil, using canning techniques that have been around for over 80 years.
